Intelligent Environments is committed to understanding modern slavery risks and ensuring that there is no modern slavery in our business and supply chains.

We wholeheartedly welcome the introduction of the Modern Slavery Act 2015. This legislation is a crucially important development in tackling slavery and human trafficking. We will not tolerate any such activities within our own operations or within our supply chain. We are committed to taking appropriate steps to ensure that everyone who works for Intelligent Environments, in any capacity, anywhere in the world, benefits from a working environment in which their fundamental rights and freedoms are respected.

Our supply chains

Taking action

As part of our procurement process, we will only engage with suppliers and contractors who can confirm their compliance with the Act.

We have adapted and re-promoted our relevant existing corporate policies to incorporate modern slavery and human trafficking issues, including our whistleblowing policy which allows employees to report any concerns confidentially. We will continue to keep our staff informed and aware of these policies, and of our approach towards modern slavery in general.
