LONDON 9 JUNE 2017 – ieDigital, in partnership with Equiniti Pancredit, has won the award for the ‘Best Use of Technology’ at the Car Finance Awards 2017.
The innovative solution, delivered to MotoNovo Finance, is the first of its kind in the UK for the motor finance sector: a complete digital, multi-channel, self-service customer application.
Consumers in the motor finance sector are typically required to use the telephone to set up and manage their accounts. Research has shown that over half of British consumers expect a digital solution, based on their experience in other financial services sectors.
ieDigital and Equiniti Pancredit have developed an intuitive and secure digital auto finance platform that improves customer service while providing greater flexibility and access to personal finances at any time.
This innovative solution represents the first fully secure, feature-rich digital self-service portal from a non-captive motor organisation.
The judges said: “Working in conjunction with Equiniti Pancredit and the formidable MotoNovo, ieDigital showed judges a brilliant three-way partnership that illuminated just what car finance businesses can gain from the digital revolution. The results were announced on 8 June 2017 in Nottingham. The Awards are in their second year and form part of the annual Car Finance Conference.
