MoneyLIVE: Nordic Banking 2018 is a leading event for innovators in the banking industry across the region. Building on nearly 10 years’ experience, 2018’s conference brought together digital and innovation experts from a range of Nordic banks and beyond.

ieDigital attended as an official sponsor.

The first evening was dedicated to exploring the best and brightest startups in the Nordic fintech scene. While networking over drinks and canapés, attendees were able to sit back and listen to the latest innovative startups pitch. A series of handpicked fintech companies each had 10 minutes to pitch to the audience, with questions fielded after the presentations.

The lightning pitches featured:

  • Tobi
  • Digibon
  • Penstable
  • Finscend.

On day one, speakers included Ewan MacLeod of Nordea, Per Kristian Næss-Fladset of DNB, Julian Farley of OpenWay, and Nils Foyn Kjaerside of Danske Bank, among others. Day two featured a keynote address by Hanna Heiskanen of the Finnish Financial Supervisory Authority, as well as sessions by Sune Mortensen (Danske Bank), Nathaniel Ward (nCino), Mattias Fras (Nordea), and Andrius Biceika (Revolut).
