Intelligent Environments sponsored the 2017 Car Finance Conference, which was held at the Nottingham Belfry Hotel on Thursday, June 8th.

This conference brought together finance houses, dealers, and brokers, as well as over 20 speakers, all of whom are leaders in the lending or motor retail businesses. The event identified the challenges these industries face and provided the solutions for those challenges.

Throughout the day there were presentations from finance leaders, and panel debates on five controversial topics, including:

  • Online finance sales
  • Dealer commission rules
  • Manufacturer strategy post-Brexit

Fred Crawley, Consulting Editor of Credit Strategy, chaired the Conference and interacted with the audience, with live polls and questions running alongside the action.

David Webber, our Managing Director, attended, aswell as a team from Intelligent Environments who hosted a stand.

Simon Cadbury, our Director of Strategy and Innovation, was on the panel discussing the topic of ‘Reinventing Point of Sale Finance’.

Our team enjoyed meeting all attendees at the conference. We provided a live stream of social media on the day so please follow @ieDigitalFS to see what we got up to.

More information on the event can be found here: https://carfinanceconference.co.uk/
